ANTI-KINK SPRINGS




Anti-Kink springs are a vital tool in the hydraulic hose assemblers armoury.

A very low cost method of preventing the early demise of hoses through kinking where it meets the ferrule.
All our Anti-kink springs are custom made to suit each application to allow for different hose and ferrule combinations.

Materials available are:- Self-colour spring steel wire, Zinc Plated with a Clear or Yellow Passivated finish,
Galvanised, Stainless Steel 302S26 or 316S41.

There are endless permutations of design.

The more popular style is close coil with a tight fit on the Ferrule  then reducing in diameter to suit the hose Outside Diameter.
The section of spring running along the hose can continue in close coil or can be open coil terminating with the
final two coils being closed.
